Welcome.

Born in Norwich during the great floods of 1953, my connection to water and the coast runs deep. Growing up as the son of an RAF chief technician, I experienced a world of diverse locations and cultures, which now inspire my paintings. Though I have no formal training, my passion for art has blossomed in retirement, surprising me with the number of people showing an interest in my work. I strive to make images that evoke a feeling and cause a reaction to the moment or place that inspired the image.

With the actual process of painting providing so much joy, I am always pleased when someone likes what I have produced.
